River & Trail Outfitters is owned and operated by Luke and Sue Cote who met in the boundry waters canoe area and have been paddling together ever since. We began our business in the Spring of 2007 with the goal of our customers having an enjoyable, stress free trip down the Upper Iowa River. We regularly see deer, pheasants, geese, ducks, mink, beaver, jumping fish and eagles at our landing. We are located between the Upper Iowa River and the Trout Run Trail Recreational Trail. The Trout Run Trail, once completed, will be a 12 mile loop around Decorah. If you are looking for a fun day on the river give us a call and we will help you arrange a trip to meet your needs.
